As of this writing, Thailand Toolkit doesn’t carry any affiliate links — this page exists to state our policy in advance, before any do, so the rule is on record rather than written after the fact.

What this means

Some pages on this site may, in the future, contain affiliate links — links to a third-party product or service where we’d earn a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking through. If that happens, it costs you nothing extra: the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider yourself.

What this doesn’t mean

An affiliate relationship never decides what we recommend. We don’t accept payment to feature a product or service, and a provider paying us a commission on a sale doesn’t buy them a better review, a higher ranking, or a mention they wouldn’t otherwise earn. If something isn’t genuinely worth recommending, an affiliate arrangement doesn’t change that — our calculators and guides are built the same way regardless of whether a link on the page happens to be an affiliate one.

How you’ll know

Any page that carries an affiliate link will say so directly on that page, near the link itself — not just here. You’ll always be able to tell, in context, when a recommendation comes with a commission attached.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
