Frequently asked questions
Does this include the buyer's import costs?
No — this tool covers only the exporter’s side: your product cost, packaging, domestic transport to the port, documentation, and international freight. If you’re the one importing, use the Landed Cost Calculator instead.
Should freight be included if the buyer pays for shipping?
Only include freight cost here if you (the exporter) are responsible for it under your agreed Incoterm — for example CIF or DDP. Under an EXW or FOB arrangement, leave it at zero since the buyer arranges and pays for freight.
