How this is calculated
The employee’s side reuses the Income Tax Calculator’s engine: income tax and the employee’s social security contribution are subtracted from gross salary. The employer’s side adds their matching social security contribution on top of gross salary to show the true monthly cost of the hire.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the Net Salary Calculator?
The Net Salary Calculator shows only the employee’s side. This tool also shows the employer’s total cost — gross salary plus the employer’s matching social security contribution — which is what a business actually budgets for a hire.
Does the employer cost include anything besides salary and social security?
No — it doesn't include benefits, bonuses, provident fund contributions, or other common employer costs, which vary by company.
